Fidget Toy Workshop - having fun with sensory tools

Our kids are often described as fidgety. They seem to need to move especially at the most inappropriate of times.
And too often, our instinct is to stop them from moving and to make them comply with what society considers as "normal" behavior needed for learning... believing that this is what is needed for them to pay attention ... or at least to be less distracting for the rest.
What if we are wrong ? and what if their brains just need their bodies to move so that they can focus better ?
There is increasing evidence on how fidgeting and movement (both vestibular and proprioceptive) triggers the brain to focus !

Activities : Learn to make paper based fidget toys (eg. fidget spinner, jumping frog and stress ball, etc ).
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT AN ONLINE EVENT. So participants will need to be vaccinated to attend the workshop.
