ADHD and Offending in Youths

  • Health Promotion Board 3 Second Hospital Ave (Singapore General Hospital) Level 3, Room 1 (Seminar Room) Singapore 168937 (map)

Speaker: Loo Wee Shyon, Senior Clinical Psychologist, Institute of Mental Health

Are youths with ADHD more predisposed to juvenile delinquency and anti-social behaviour? Loo will address the connection between ADHD and later anti-social behaviour and delinquency; what efforts are important to help juveniles with ADHD; and what parents can do in the earlier years to identify those at-risk of anti-social behaviour for early intervention. Loo works with young persons diagnosed with ADHD, young offenders; victims of trauma and youths at risk of offending. For Non SPARK Members click here to register.
