Improving Executive Function and Working Memory for ADHD Children

  • Health Promotion Board 3 Second Hospital Ave (Singapore General Hospital) Level 3, Room 1 (Seminar Room) Singapore 168937 (map)

Speaker: Dr Marthe van der Donk, Psychologist, The Counselling Place

Children with ADHD have problems in multiple cognitive skills like response inhibition, planning and working memory—often referred to as executive functions. Dr Marthe van der Donk will discuss the link between ADHD and these deficits in executive functions. She will also provide insights and practical advice in cognitive training. Dr Marthe has a doctorate from the University of Amsterdam. She helps children and adolescents with working memory failure or if they need to stay focused, plan and organise. She also works with parents and teachers to help them support these children at home or in the classroom. Registration is required; please register here.
