Synopsis : Being mentally ill in Singapore is really hard. There are limited spaces where people who suffer from mental health issues like depression and anxiety can have conversations on this painful but often unspoken topic. Through collective storytelling of our individual experiences coping with our mental illness, Reetz and her team of volunteers at “Your Head Lah” hope to forge a sense of solidarity and build a community where we can heal together. Join us on an interactive workshop to learn how to hold space for our ADHD child who may be struggling with depression or anxiety so that we can better care for them in their most vulnerable time while still providing enough scaffolding to help them through the darkness.
Speaker : Reetz Chatterjee, Founder of “Your Head Lah”, a mental health collective that aims to amplify marginalised voices in Singapore. They are run by youths in support of youths.
